New Lights for Sooke Xmas Tree

Well it took all day, but with the combined work of Sooke Fire Rescue and the ladder truck, crews from Dales Electric and a manlift and crews from Troy Lovbakes tree service company and their lift truck all of the old lights were removed from the big Christmas tree at Evergreen Mall. (Oh and Laura from the District of Sooke for getting all the lights and supplying cold wet crews with hot coffee) Despite high winds, driving rain and even sleet, the crews persevered and got all new LED lights installed on the tree and I must admit is looks awesome. The official unveiling will take place on Saturday evening at the Sooke Christmas Spirit Festival. Come down with your family and have some fun.
